About Shattuckite: Shattuckite is a rare copper silicate mineral prized for its intense blue color. It typically forms alongside other copper minerals, so pieces often show teal chrysocolla, green malachite, and quartz mixed in — creating the beautiful multi-toned blues and greens you see here. Congo is one of the classic sources of colorful copper minerals like this.
