Your specimen will be intuitively chosen for you. Each piece is natural, so color, size, shape, and crystal pattern will vary from the photos.
About Honeycomb Ruby: Ruby is the red variety of corundum, one of the hardest minerals on Earth, colored by traces of chromium. Honeycomb Ruby forms as tightly packed crystal growths with a textured, cell-like surface. The same chromium that gives ruby its color also makes it fluoresce red under ultraviolet light.
