The Spirit Quartz is only found in the Magaliesberg Mountain region of South Africa. It was first discovered in the early 21st century and depending on which kind of crystal forms the base it can either be brightened in shades of lilac, purple, white, grey or brown. The Spirit Quartz crystal is often mined by women in the local tribe who hand pick and clean the stones with the utmost care and consideration.

It is also known as Cactus Quartz, Pineapple Quartz or Porcupine Quartz
